While I was on the Island of Cyprus... I noticed the overpopulation of unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals... then found this wonderful shelter that works to help all those critters treated so badly by a large number of those people living there.
The people who run this shelter are in grave need of financial assistance... so, if you ... after seeing these images... feel so moved,, please note the PayPal buttons on the top and bottom of each of these pages.
Here in our Country, by and large, it is understood how valuable animals are, both as companions and as workers. That is not always the case in other parts of the world.

These will not be easy images to see.... for almost all...if not all... the animals you see here, if they aren't among the 1% fortunate enough to have been placed, by now have been euthanized (and they are the lucky ones).
